Why Private Coaching

Some people want more individual attention than a group can give. One-to-one means everything in the session can be shaped around one person.

  • Exercise selection
  • Progression
  • Strength work
  • Conditioning
  • Mobility
  • Movement development
  • Session pacing
  • Modifications

Athletic Strength

Coached small-group training on a structured program, with modifications made for the individual. A good fit if you want real coaching alongside other people.

Private Coaching

One-to-one, so programming, pacing, exercise selection and progression are built around you specifically. A good fit if you want the session to be entirely yours.

What we work on

The same qualities that keep you strong and capable, put together around one person rather than a room.

Strength

Progressive strength work built around your current ability and what you are training for.

Conditioning

Better work capacity and fitness, built rather than chased through random exhaustion.

Mobility

Usable movement through the positions that actually matter to you.

Athletic movement

Coordination, balance, body control and confidence in how you move.

Core and trunk strength

The ability to create movement through the trunk and to control it.

Individual modifications

Exercises and progressions adjusted around your ability, experience and limitations.

Your program should fit you

You shouldn't have to fit yourself into a generic workout. Training starts from where you are and moves with how you move, what you can do and how you respond.

  • Start where you are.Training matches your current ability rather than an arbitrary standard you are supposed to meet first.
  • Progress with purpose.Exercises, loads and difficulty change as you improve, so the training keeps up with you.
  • Modify without losing the goal.If an exercise doesn't fit you, the exercise changes — not necessarily what it was there to achieve.
  • Coach the person in front of you.Technique, loading and progression reflect what is actually happening in the session, not what was written down beforehand.

Questions

Do I need training experience?

No. Private Coaching starts from your current ability and experience, whatever that is.

Do I need to be in shape before starting?

No. You don't need to be in shape to start. You just need to be ready to train.

What if I have limitations or can't perform certain exercises?

Training can be adjusted to your current ability, training experience and individual limitations. If you're currently injured or under medical care, we may ask you to get clearance from your healthcare provider before participating.

How is Private Coaching different from Athletic Strength?

Athletic Strength is coached small-group training on a structured program, with modifications made for the individual. Private Coaching is one-to-one, so the programming, pacing, exercise selection and progression can all be built around one person specifically.

How often should I train?

That depends on your goals, schedule and what you're doing outside of our sessions. Some clients train with us more often than others. We'll use the assessment to determine what makes sense for you.

Where is training held?

Inside Empire Fitness, 1155 E 151st St S #104, Glenpool, OK 74033.

Is an Empire Fitness membership required?

Yes. An active Empire Fitness membership is required for training. Join Empire Fitness
