What is Athletic Strength?

Structured, progressive small-group coaching. Your workouts are coached and progressed, not randomly generated.

  • Strength
  • Conditioning
  • Mobility
  • Core training
  • Athletic movement

Who it's for

You don't need to be in shape to start. You just need to be ready to train.

This is for adults who:

  • Want to get stronger
  • Want better conditioning
  • Want to move better
  • Want to stay athletic as they age
  • Don't enjoy figuring out workouts themselves
  • Want coaching and accountability
  • Want more individual attention than a large group class, without paying for private training every session

Built for real life

The goal isn't just to get better at working out. It's to build a body that keeps up with your life.

  • Carrying groceries
  • Climbing stairs
  • Keeping up with your kids
  • Recreational sports
  • Travel
  • Staying independent
  • Feeling physically capable

What training looks like

Strength

Progressive lifting built around fundamental movement patterns.

Conditioning

Work capacity that builds fitness without random exhaustion.

Mobility

Move well through positions you want to keep for life.

Core

Trunk strength that supports everything else you do.

Athletic movement

Move with coordination, balance and confidence—not just strength in one direction.

Individual modifications

Options and progressions so you train at your level and keep advancing.

A woman rowing a dumbbell in a hinged position while other clients work through their own movements behind her.

Part of the session is individual — each person on their own movement.

Several women in an Athletic Strength class pressing weights overhead at the same time, one locking out a barbell while the others press dumbbells.

Part of it is shared — the whole class on the same lift.

Real people. Real progress.

Questions

Do I need to already be in shape?

No. You don't need to be in shape to start. You just need to be ready to train.

What if I have limitations or can't perform certain exercises?

Training can be adjusted to your current ability, training experience and individual limitations. If you're currently injured or under medical care, we may ask you to get clearance from your healthcare provider before participating.

Is this a boot camp?

No. It is structured, progressive coaching in a small group, not random high-intensity workouts.

How is this different from personal training?

You get real coaching in a small group at a lower monthly cost than private sessions. If you need fully customized 1-on-1 attention, Private Coaching is the better fit.

How many days per week should I train?

Athletic Strength is designed to work well with 2–3 training sessions per week. Consistency matters more than trying to train every day.

Where are the workouts held?

Inside Empire Fitness, 1155 E 151st St S #104, Glenpool, OK 74033.

Is a gym membership required?

Yes. Athletic Strength is held inside Empire Fitness, and participants are required to maintain an active Empire Fitness membership. Join Empire Fitness
